2022 general election analysis: House and Senate races

This election season, many county elected officials are up for re-election, but they aren’t alone on the ballot. Kentucky’s 2022 general election is Nov. 8, and the ballot also will include the entire state House, re-elected every two years, and half of the Senate with staggered terms between odd- and even-numbered districts.

Voter Registration Stats 

The Kentucky State Board of Elections updates voter registration statistics monthly. The most recent report for April 2022 shows that there are 3,560,353 registered voters in the Commonwealth - 45.4 percent are registered with the Democratic Party, 44.9 percent with the Republican Party and 9.6 percent registered as "other".
