SPOTLIGHT

KACo Activity Books

No matter what county you live in, educating youth is the KEY. That’s why KACo created the KACo Educating Youth (KEY) program.

The goals of the program are to provide schools and students with a civic education opportunity, to emphasize the purpose and importance of county government to Kentucky students, and to connect schools with their respective county government officials.

By educating youth at an early age about county government, it opens the door for future generations of leaders to get involved within their local communities. It also provides knowledge on how local government works and how residents (including students) are affected daily by county government decisions.

For County Officials

KACo encourages our county officials to distribute the KACo Activity Books in their local schools.
