General Assembly Announces Plans for 2020 Regular Session
Members of House and Senate leadership announced today that the 2020 Regular Session will continue as scheduled, but with a number of safeguards and precautions in place to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

Legislative leaders announced that the Kentucky General Assembly’s 2020 session will be postponed until March 17. The Senate and House will not convene, as previously scheduled, on Friday, March 13 or Monday, March 16.

Broadband deployment bill passes House
HB362 - which would create a framework for future funding of broadband deployment grants in the Commonwealth - has passed the House 82-11 and has advanced to the Senate.
Voter ID bill passes House, returns to Senate
The House passed SB2 by a vote of 62-35. The bill now returns to the Senate, where it passed by a vote of 29-9 in late January.
