Description: The executive director is responsible and reports to the FCTA Board of Directors. The executive director serves as the chief executive officer for FCTA; to plan, direct, review and manage the organization’s day-to-day activities and operations focused on providing a wide range of public transit activities; and to perform other duties as required. The position has overall responsibility for managing a wide range of public transit activities including grant applications, grant oversite, meeting regulations of the Federal Transit Administration and The Kentucky Department of Transportation; fleet of approximately 65 public transit vehicles, meeting the needs of about 300 clients a day; ensuring that the four counties in West Kentucky FCTA services are provided with desired high level of services in an effective, cost-efficient method.
