Law Enforcement Vehicle Operations and Risk Reduction

Time: 6:00 PM-10:00 PM Eastern
Location: Boyd County High School, 14375 Lions Lane, Ashland, KY
This four-hour course provides law enforcement emergency vehicle operators with both classroom instruction and hands-on driving practice to reduce risk and improve safety. Training will focus on essential skills such as backing, managing distractions, handling aggressive driving and operating safely during emergencies and pursuit situations. This course will be offered four times over two days. Open to Deputy Sheriffs.

• Students must bring their agency-assigned vehicle to the class.
