Notice of Executive Order abolishing Kentucky Claims Commission
On September 1, 2020, the Governor signed Executive Order (“EO”) 2020-708 which abolished the Kentucky Claims Commission and established the Board of Claims, the Board of Tax Appeals, the Crime Victims Compensation Board, and the Office of Claims and Appeals. Pursuant to the EO, emergency and ordinary regulations were filed outlining the procedures before each Board. Under KRS 13A.270(3), this post serves as notice that the above-referenced emergency and ordinary administrative regulations have been filed and copies of all three (3) regulations and attachments required by KRS 13A.230(1) can be found linked below.
All affected individuals, businesses, or other entities are requested to submit written comments that identify the anticipated effects of the proposed administrative regulation.
