County officials discuss jail costs

Four county officials spoke about the challenge of rising jail costs during the July 29 meeting of the Interim Joint Committee on Local Government.

Menifee County Judge/Executive Rick Stiltner, Rowan County Judge/Executive Harry Clark, Hardin County Jailer/Kentucky Jailers Association President Josh Lindblom, and Hardin County Attorney/Kentucky County Attorneys Association President Jenny Oldham testified before lawmakers.
