Session Calendar
The General Assembly meets for 60 business days in even-numbered years and for 30 business days in odd-numbered years. The Session calendar below details what days in January, February and March 2011 are scheduled as "legislative days", legislative holidays, concurrence days, veto days and "sine die," the final day of the session where both houses adjourn until the following January, unless the Governor convenes a Special Session.
On this calendar you will also note the final days for bill requests as well as the final day for new House and Senate bills to be filed for consideration. It is not unheard of for the General Assembly to "move" a legisative day should conditions warrant such action.
