Formed in 1978 as the Commonwealth's first Governmental Association Workers Compensation Fund, the KACo Workers Compensation Fund has been providing competitive workers compensation coverage for county governments and political subdivisions.

The KACo program has been a consistent market for securing coverage through times when no other carriers were willing to offer local governments workers compensation coverage in Kentucky and continues to be your leading provider of coverage today. As with other KACo programs, the KACo Workers Compensation Fund's focus is not to generate a profit, but to provide you the best coverage at the lowest price.

The program maintains a twenty-four hour dedicated claims service, as well as safety & loss control services. (See Safety & Loss Control information for additional details).
