Since 1978, the KACo Workers Compensation Fund has been providing affordable workers compensation coverage to its members. The Fund has grown to over 600 members and is financially solid. Since the passage of major workers compensation reform in December 1996, the Fund has been very busy implementing all of the mandates of the landmark legislation.
The Fund is protected by reinsurance coverage in the event of a catastrophic situation involving an extremely serious claim or a single catastrophe involving multiple injuries or fatalities.
