2026 Opioid Solutions: September
Counties have a unique opportunity to support pregnant and postpartum women, children, and families affected by the opioid epidemic through strategic investments of opioid settlement funds.
This webinar will explore allowable uses under Exhibit E, including expanding Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) services for uninsured pregnant women, increasing access to treatment and recovery services during pregnancy and up to 12 months postpartum, and providing wrap-around supports such as housing, transportation, childcare, and workforce development.
Participants will learn how these investments can strengthen family stability, improve maternal and infant outcomes, and create pathways to long-term recovery. The session will also highlight practical county examples and partnership opportunities that help communities build a more comprehensive system of support for families affected by substance use disorder.
