Important public official bond information
Bonds are required by law for most elected officials and many appointed public officials to guarantee faithful performance.
Liberty Mutual Surety specializes in providing bond solutions for the multiple classes of public officials. We work closely with independent agents and brokers to provide their customers with the bond they need.
Newly elected officials will need a bond in place before their term begins Jan. 2, 2023.
Please note, even if a prior bond was in place with KACo Insurance Agency, it is scheduled to lapse at the end of the calendar year, and a new bond is needed for the next term of office.
